In the heart of Nosara, our story began over a century ago.

The Matarrita family has lived on this land for more than 100 years, cultivating corn, fishing along the coast, and living in deep connection with nature — values that are part of what makes this region one of the world’s Blue Zones.

Here, life is simple but meaningful. Daily traditions are built around fresh, natural foods: rice and beans, locally caught fish, seasonal fruits, and ingredients grown directly from the land. Corn is more than food — it is culture, identity, and a symbol of generations who have lived with purpose and respect for nature.
